OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – The Oconee County Sheriff’s Business office arrested and charged a man soon after deputies identified a stolen horse inside of a bedroom Monday.
Garry Chase Coble Jr. was charged with larceny of livestock.
In accordance to the sheriff’s business, a girl saw Coble riding a horse down the road at 2:33 p.m. and took it inside of a household in the 100 block of Nation Lane.
At the time deputies arrived on scene, they manufactured get in touch with with Coble’s father who stated Coble was not supposed to be there.
At the time the father arrived, Coble opened the entrance doorway and deputies observed horse feces in the dwelling area.
The father demanded Coble come out of the bedroom and as deputies tried to get him into custody, he went again into the bedroom.
According to the sheriff’s office environment, that is when deputies observed a full sizing quarter horse standing in the center of the bed room.
Deputies explained the horse appeared to be quiet as they followed Coble into the lavatory and put him into custody.
The horse’s owner arrived on scene and discovered a tiny crimson laceration on the front left leg of the horse that they mentioned was not on the horse final time they noticed it.
Coble is dealing with costs of theft, petit larceny and destructive injury to animals or individual assets in unrelated situations.
Coble remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Middle.
